CoParentCal automatically syncs your OurFamilyWizard (OFW) calendar events to your personal calendar app — Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, or any app that supports iCal/ICS feeds. Events appear and update automatically, no manual exporting needed.
Choose a plan on the home page, complete checkout via Stripe, and you'll receive an email with a link to enter your OFW credentials. Once connected, your calendar feed is generated within minutes.
No. Stripe handles payment and gives us your email. After checkout, you get a setup link (emailed to you) and a private dashboard URL — no username/password to remember for our service.
After setup, your dashboard shows a feed URL. Copy it, then:
Yes. Your OFW credentials are encrypted with AES-256 (Fernet) before being stored. They are only decrypted momentarily during each sync cycle, used to log in and export your calendar, then immediately discarded from memory. They are never stored in plain text, logged, or shared with anyone.
Only someone with your private feed URL can access your calendar data. Treat your feed URL like a password — don't share it publicly. If you suspect it's been compromised, contact us and we'll generate a new one.
Yes. All connections to CoParentCal use HTTPS/TLS encryption. Your data is encrypted in transit and your credentials are encrypted at rest.
No. CoParentCal only reads your calendar by using OFW's built-in export feature. It never creates, edits, or deletes any events. It never sends messages. Your OFW account is untouched.
CoParentCal exports your OFW calendar every 60 minutes during daytime hours (5 AM – 10 PM Eastern) and every 3 hours during off-hours. Changes to your OFW calendar will typically appear in your subscribed calendar within an hour during the day.
Two factors affect timing: (1) CoParentCal syncs hourly, and (2) your calendar app has its own refresh interval. Google Calendar, for example, may only check feed URLs every few hours. You can usually force a refresh manually in your calendar app's settings.
Your first sync pulls in 6 months of past events and 12 months of upcoming events. After that, every event is saved for the life of your subscription — your calendar history only grows over time, nothing is ever removed.
No. OFW's calendar export only includes discrete events (appointments, activities, etc.), not the color-coded parenting schedule overlay. This is a limitation of OFW's export feature, not CoParentCal.
No. CoParentCal provides one-way sync from OFW to your calendar app. To add or modify events in OFW, you still use the OFW website or app directly.
Any calendar application that supports iCal/ICS feed subscriptions, including Google Calendar, Apple Calendar (macOS and iOS), Microsoft Outlook (desktop and web), Yahoo Calendar, Thunderbird, and many others.

Yes. You can cancel from your dashboard at any time through the Stripe billing portal. Your subscription remains active through the end of the billing period, then syncing stops.
All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). Payment is handled securely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
Yes. Use the "Manage Subscription" link in your dashboard to access the Stripe billing portal, where you can change your plan.
Yes. CoParentCal provides the same core functionality as Crown Add-Ons' MyCalFeed for OFW — automatic syncing of your OurFamilyWizard calendar to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, and other calendar apps. If your previous OFW calendar sync service stopped working or is no longer available, CoParentCal is a modern, actively maintained alternative.
CoParentCal offers several improvements: AES-256 encryption for your OFW credentials (not stored in plain text), hourly sync updates, event notes and descriptions from OFW are included (MyCalFeed did not sync notes), event archiving so your calendar history grows over time, and a personal dashboard to manage your account and check sync status. We also provide direct customer support.
No. Simply sign up for CoParentCal, enter your OFW credentials, and you'll get a new feed URL. Remove your old MyCalFeed subscription from your calendar app and add the new CoParentCal feed URL. Your OFW events will start syncing within minutes.
Yes. If your previous OFW calendar sync service (such as MyCalFeed or Crown Add-Ons) is no longer working, CoParentCal can get your OFW calendar syncing again. Sign up takes under 5 minutes and your first sync happens immediately.
Check your dashboard for sync status. If it shows an error, try updating your OFW credentials (your OFW password may have changed). If the issue persists, contact us.
Use the dashboard link from your setup email to access your account. There's an "Update Credentials" form where you can enter your new OFW password. Once submitted, syncing resumes automatically within the hour.
